· Jan 15, Sr. Company dress for DTDT Mainstreet performance

· Jan 16-17, David Taylor Dance Theater/PDA at Mainstreet Center, 7:30 P.M. (all PDA families are invited to watch the performance which will involve the DTDT Company dancers as well as PDA Sr. Company dancers)

· Jan 18, Company rehearsal (afternoons TBA)

· March 7, “PDA Showcase” Dress Rehearsal at the studio 2-5:00 (this does not include the “Solo, Duet and Trio Only” dances)

· March 8, “Solo, Duet and Trio Only” performance at Grandview High School

· March 8, “PDA Showcase” Performance at Grandview (all PDA families are invited to watch this performance which will involve selected classes and Company dances from PDA) You will be notified if your child will be selected for this show.

· March 14 & 15, Company rehearsals (afternoons TBA)

· March 21 & 22, DEA (Dance Educators of America) Competition/ Convention (details TBA)

· March 23-28, Studio closed for Spring Break

April

· Costumes begin to arrive and are sent home with students

· April 25, “Beauty and the Beast” (end of the year show) Character Auditions (details TBA) All PDA students who would like to can attend this audition for character parts in the end of the year show “Beauty and the Beast”. Age requirements and detail TBA.

May

· May 2, “Beauty and the Beast” Character rehearsals (afternoon, details TBA)

· May 3, 2009/2010 Company Auditions 2-5:00 All interested PDA students 1^st-12^th grade are invited to audition for our “Company” performing groups. Details TBA.

· May 9 & 10, Hoofers Tap Weekend

· May 8 & 9, PDA Professional Dance Photos for all students!

· May 16, “Beauty and the Beast” rehearsals at the studio. (details TBA)

· May 25, Studio closed for Memorial Day

· May 31, “Beauty and the Beast” Character rehearsals (afternoon, details TBA)

June

· June 6, “Beauty and the Beast” rehearsals at the studio (details TBA)

· June 8 & 9, “Beauty and the Beast” set up & selected class rehearsals at Ponderosa High School (schedule TBA)

· June 10-14, “Beauty and the Beast” end of the year show at Ponderosa High School (all specific class show assignments TBA) All Evening shows are 7:00-9:00. All Matinee shows are 2:00-4:00. Dancers will need to arrive at the theater ½ hour before the performance begins.

Details and specifics for all of these dates will be emailed and posted each month as they approach. Which classes will be in which shows has not been decided yet, but that information is forthcoming. At this point it looks like there will be no separate "Tiny Tot" show for our 3-pre K students, and that they will be a part of our "Big" show this year, Beauty and the Beast.
