This is the tentative schedule we have started for Company choreography.  Please check this web page the night before your classes to see if there have been any changes. If we call your Company to choreography or rehearsal you will need to come to the Company rehearsal time on the day listed.  If you are NOT called for choreography or rehearsal, you will not need to come during the Company Rehearsal time (M or W 6-7:30) and will just need to attend your regular technique class for that day.

MONDAY AUG 30 : Artistry begins a jazz piece with Ms. Lisa during the Company rehearsal time slot (Monday 6-7:30).  

WED SEPT 1ST:  Push and Discover begin a piece with Ms Julie during the Company rehearsal time slot (Wed 6-7:30)

MONDAY SEPT 6TH:  NO CLASSES, LABOR DAY

WED SEPT 8TH:  Push and Discover with Ms Julie

TENTATIVE CHOREOGRAPHY REHEARSALS:

We are currently working with Nicole and Tash Redder to choreograph as guest choreographers during the month of Sept., and we hope to have Eliza, Corina and Dan also come as guest choreographers at some point.  If we do not have a guest choreographer then Ms Lisa and Ms Julie will be continuing to choreograph and rehearse the days and Companies as posted above, until those pieces are completed.  Please continue to check this page to stay current!

Company Descriptions

This year we have carefully chosen our Company names based on our goals for each Company.  Notice that these names do not imply levels (like in school) but rather processes.  We feel each dancer is a part of the process of becoming the dancer they were meant to be, and that this process is fluid and individual.

1,) “Reach”.  This is a Company for dancers who have decided that dance is their passion and want to continue to“reach” for new dance experiences, more technique, new levels of performance, and more commitment to their dancing.
2.) "Push". This is a Company for passionate, committed, dancers who want to continue to "push" themselves to new and higher levels in their dancing with continuing emphasis on technique, strength and flexibility, physical growth and emotional maturity, expanding their performance experiences, and refining their performance quality.
3.) "Discover". This is a Company for experienced, committed, and passionate dancers who have a developed sense of performance quality and focus, have achieved a certain degree of strength, flexibility, and emotional maturity, and are continuing to refine their technique and "discover" their voice as an artist.
4.) "Artistry". This is a Company for passionate, mature, committed, and focused dancers who are capable of representing the best of PDA, have proven that they work at 100% level every class, have achieved a high degree of technique, strength and flexibility, can process critique with a positive attitude, want to continue to achieve technically and artistically, and are ready to focus their skills and their artistic voice into a dancer who can dance with "artistry".
